The Cloud Radius system was designed to either let you be a normal user to the system or to setup your own company profile. To be a normal user your Radius server will live inside the company profile of someone else and dependant on the permissions you are assigned, you can either view or edit your Cloud Radius server. – We’ll describe this in another post.
In this blog we will show you how easy it is to sign up to Cloud Radius. This is normally a step that will be required by a company that want to manage it’s own Radius server/s or a reseller who want to manage the Radius servers of other companies.
This decision should not be taken litely since it could be cumbersome to non-network knowledgeable users if they have to manage their own Radius servers. Even though Cloud Radius is so easy to use, you need to know something about managing networks. Here is the easy steps to show you how to signup:
- Goto Cloud Radius website.
- Next click on the Signup button
- Fill in all required information. We need this information for invoicing you for your Radius server/s. If you are a private individual you can leave out optional fields.
- Click the Sign Up button on the bottom of the screen.
- After this step you will be directed to the login screen again with the following popup message
- You will now receive an activation e-mail
- Click on the Verify Your Email button
- You will now be re-directed to the login screen again
- You can now enter your login details and login to the Cloud Radius system
- (Optional) If you forgot your password like I did, you can click on the Forgot Password button and follow the easy instructions to change your password
- Enter your email and hit the Reset Password button after which you will get the following popup
- Wait for the password reset email
- Now click on the Reset Your Password button and follow the easy instructions
- Enter email and new password
- Click on the Reset button
- Now you’ll be redirected to the Login screen again
- Enter your email address and password
- Hit the Login button
Now you are ready to take the next step and create your first Radius server…
